| INSTALLATION RULES OF OUR FLEXIBLE

Safety in functioning of our flexible hoses dipends on the correct way of installation. The following rules apply:
Before the installation
- Verify the suitability of the technical characteristics of the flexible hose for the required application
- Ensure that both fittings at the ends of the flexible hose are blocked correctly
During the installation
- The flexible part of the hose must not be installed in twisted or tensive position
- The flesible hose must not be bended beyond the permitted bend radius
- The flexible hose must not be bended in proximity of the fittings: a minimum distance (external diameter of the hose x 1,5) must be respected.
- The flexible part of the hose must not be embedded in a wall.
- Zincated hoes must not be covered with insulating material.
- The flexible hose must be installed free of contact with machines etc.
After the installation
- Verify the tightness of the flexible hose.
- Don't operate the flexible hoses in de-pressurized conditions
- Easy access for inspection and substitution must be guaranteed.
- Flexible hoses must not be considered and used as electrical earth connections. |
